This isn't just an assignment but a blueprint for breakthrough. Take your time with each step and be honest with yourself.
Step 1 — Identify Your Battlefield
Where do you need God's intervention and guidance right now?
Write down 3–5 specific areas of your life where you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or in need of God's direction. Be real — this is between you and God.
Area of Life | What's the Struggle or Need? |
e.g. Finances | Debt, no steady income, poor spending habits |
e.g. Relationships | Toxic friendships, loneliness, family tension |
e.g.Purpose/Career | Don't know what direction to take |
Step 2 — Build Your Scriptural Foundation
What does God's Word say about each area?
For each area you listed, find at least 3 scriptures that speak directly to it. Don't just Google/chatgpt "Bible verse about money" — dig in, read the context, and write down why that verse connects to your situation.
Scripture (NKJV) | Area It Addresses | What It Means to Me Personally |
e.g. Philippians 4:19 | Finances | God promises to supply — not just enough, but according to His riches |
Challenge: Pick one scripture per area and commit it to memory this week.
Step 3 — Know the Conditions
What does God require of you to access this promise?
Every promise in Scripture has a posture attached to it — faith, obedience, surrender, persistence. Study your scriptures and identify what God is asking you to do or become in order to walk in that promise.
Answer these questions for each area:
What condition or requirement does this scripture place on the believer?
Is there any sin, habit, or mindset that might be blocking this promise in your life?
What does full surrender in this area actually look like for you?
Example — Joshua 1:8 (Prosperity & Success): The condition is meditating on the Word day and night and being careful to do what it says. The block might be an inconsistent time in Scripture. Full surrender means building a daily Word habit, not just crisis-praying.
Ecclesiastes 11:2, advises: "Divide your investments among many places, for you do not know what risks might lie ahead" (NLT). It might mean taking an investment course and learning how money works
Step 4 — Faith in Action
What are you going to do about it — starting now?
Faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Faith in one word is obedience. Write down 2–3 concrete, practical steps you will take this week to move toward the breakthrough you need. These should be specific, measurable, and Spirit-led — not just wishful thinking.
Area | Practical Faith Step | I Will Do This By... |
e.g. Purpose | Schedule a 30-min prayer session asking God specifically for direction | This Sunday evening |
e.g. Finances | Create a budget and bring my tithe current | Before next Friday |
Remember: Dominion isn't claimed in one prayer — it's walked out in daily decisions that align your actions with what you believe God said.
Closing Reflection
Write 3–5 sentences answering this question:
Based on what you've studied over the past few weeks, what does walking in dominion practically look like in YOUR life — not in theory, but on a Monday morning?
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." — Romans 8:14 (NKJV)
